Tony Romo, A Legend
The high efficiency of Dallas Cowboys was active for a period of more than 30 years. The team has having millions of fans not only in Texas and the United States but at international level. The Dallas Cowboys are known as "America’s Team" in the NFL and have shown success in all areas of business and are considered one of the most valuable sports clubs in North America.
Indeed, the NFL Dallas Cowboys are a team with a remarkable history and a wealth of stars such as Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach and Emmitt Smith and more. The ability and the results generted by these legendary stars have made NFL history. The Dallas Cowboys are one of the most successful teams in the history of the NFL and hold many records in league. They hold the record for most consecutive winning seasons - 20 total - from 1966 to 1985, and at least 10 victories.
The Dallas Cowboys are once again in a great position to suceed with their current quarterback, Tony Romo. Romo attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, where he began his successful career. In 2002 he became the first well known player Eastern Illinois. He finished his career in school and wwon the Walter Payton award. Tony Romo also won consensus All-American honors.
Despite some intriguing scout visits, Tony Romo went undrafted during the 2003 NFL dart. The Dallas Cowboys signed the undrafted Free Agent quarterback just after the draft. Romo sat the bench until early into the 2006 season. Romo proved the Cowboys right when he took the starting reigns. He led the Cowboys on a winning streak that eventually led to the NFL Playoffs. During that run, he led the Cowboys to a season high win vs the eventual Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts at Texas Stadium.
Tony Romo’s first appearance in the NFL playoffs in 2006, did not finish as he wished. A botched snap during a 19-yard field goal attempt with a minute left in the game led to a loss to the Seattle Seahawks 21-20 .
Tony Romo ended the season with a great future for him and his team. The Dallas Cowboys have had an excellent team throughout many years. Only time will tell whether Tony Romo will become a legend and one of the stars of Dallas Cowboys history.
